The Greater Columbus Master's Team - (GCMT)

GCMT operates out of the Columbus Sport's Club (located at the Best Western Hotel located at 888 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43229) where we have access to not only the pool but to the weight & conditioning rooms, as well. You can download our informational brochure, our application & the USMS application from the top panel above. The team application is due before you can get into the water for liability reasons but the USMS application can wait until you've done your trial period of 1 week if that is how you wish to start as you may start on a pay by practice option before deciding to commit. Still, you may start immediately on one of our other payment options if you would like.  

Gloria "Gator" McCarthy is our head coach and program coordinator in charge of operations and administration. She will also coach our early morning and Sunday evening practices. Please feel free to call her with your questions. You'll love Gator as she's one of the most energetic and positive people that you'll ever meet. 

GCMT also provides a very structured dry land training program mixed in with our water workouts to help our members become even better athletes and, therefore, even better swimmers. Few other Masters programs offer such a dry land training portion to their programming structure.
